How Treatment Feels

a beautiful sunset background

A Calm, Unhurried Approach

Patient-centred, individualised approach to treatment
Time to be be heard before treatment begins
Gentle cranial or structural techniques as appropriate

Appointments here are designed to feel spacious and attentive, so that your problem can be properly understood. This is vital for accurate diagnosis, and leads to successful treatment outcomes.

The aim is to allow you the patient to fully understand what’s happening in your body before treatment begins, allowing care to progress at your pace.

Chris Stapleton has over 30 years of experience in the successful treatment of a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, and is able to use a wide range of gentle osteopathic techniques, including cranial osteopathy, for the treatment of the adults, children and infants.

A Patient-Centred Experience

Time to be be heard before treatment begins
Time to understand your diagnosis
Tailored treatment with patient-centred support

Appointments are designed to feel calm, collaborative, and unhurried.

Your history and examination are brought together to form a clear picture of what may be contributing to your symptoms. Before treatment begins, we take time to talk through what’s been found, what it may mean for you, and how osteopathic care can help — so you feel fully informed and comfortable with every step.

Treatment itself is tailored rather than routine. Depending on what your body needs, this may include cranial osteopathy, structural techniques, or gentle supportive approaches. Care is adapted for people at every stage of life, from babies and children to adults, older people, and those with active or physically demanding lifestyles.

Alongside general osteopathic care, there is a particular interest in supporting people with headaches, migraines, and ENT-related conditions.

Osteopathy For The Whole Family

Osteopathy can support people at many stages of life, from newborns to older adults. Care is always adapted to the individual, whether you’re seeking help with persistent discomfort, recovery from injury, or support through life changes.

Adults & Professionals
Support for everyday aches, postural strain, and the physical demands of modern life.
Pregnancy & Postnatal Care
Gentle, tailored treatment to help the body adapt and recover through pregnancy and beyond.
Babies & Children
A calm and sensitive approach designed to help recovery from the demands of birth and support growing bodies.
Persistent or Complex Pain
Thoughtful assessment for ongoing or recurring issues where a slower, more detailed approach may help. This includes working with presentations of nerve pain, migraine, and headache to try to uncover the root-cause contributors of these often distressing conditions.
